Women’s Autumn Race Series

Prime Coaching have arranged a series of three Women Only Race Dates at Hillingdon Cycling Circuit during September.

The three dates are all Sunday mornings scheduled as follows:

• Race 1: Sunday 8th September
• Race 2: Sunday 15th September
• Race 3: Sunday 22nd September

The first race on each day shall be a Go-Race type event that is intended for novice riders looking to try racing for the first time. This will be a shorter race of about 30-40 minutes duration. Prizes will be available but no British Cycling ranking points shall be awarded. The Go-Race event shall be open to all women over the age of 14. No British Cycling license or membership is required to compete. Entry will be via the British Cycling website – further details to be published later. Price is £10 per rider, plus a £1 booking fee.

The second event of the day shall be a Regional B race, open to riders eligible to hold a 3rd or 4th CAT licence which includes all women born in 2002 or earlier. This will be a longer race (50 minutes + 5 laps) and British Cycling ranking points as well as prizes will be awarded. The cost of the open event will be £15, plus £1 booking fee. If you do not currently hold a full racing licence, a day licence can be purchased on the day to cover insurance etc..

Remember – you can enter both races if eligible. If you enter the novice race and enjoy it, sign on for the second race on the day. We will be taking entries on the day for both races, so no need to commit too much in advance.
